Robin Kramer is a brand marketing maven, natural business nurturer, master of relationships and a sales expert who has an impressive history with leaders in the retail industry that have built their brands on innovative merchandising and strong service cultures. Among these brands is Williams-Sonoma, Inc. where she utilized her operations management background to develop and refine the process of opening new stores during a period of rapid expansion across that organization’s three retail brands: Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn and Hold Everything. Kramer overhauled the store's associate recognition program; she also led the customer service functions for all retail brands, including the development and implementation of service standards in stores and call centers. She went on to implement similar programs and new initiatives at another forward-thinking retail brand, the Old Navy division of Gap, Inc.
For the past 20 plus years, Robin has worked with primarily small, upscale wholesale jewelry brands and designers to bring their products to market, position these niche brands for maximum exposure to their target customers and build relationships with national and international retailers. One such brand was Dogeared where she helped them grow from a small company into a well-known jewelry brand with sales growth over 800% in the five years she was there. She has a keen eye for recognizing products and designs that represent a unique and fresh approach in a crowded and competitive space.
In 2010 Robin founded Red Boot Consulting and in 2012 she co-founded Flourish & Thrive Academy, an online business educational platform for jewelry designers worldwide. She has had the pleasure of speaking and moderating panel discussions at various conferences for Flourish & Thrive Academy's F&T LIVE event, NY NOW Retail Renaissance trade show, American Handcrafted trade show, JCK trade show, ISGB (International Society of Glass Beads) conference, SNAG (Society of North American Goldsmiths) conference and as a featured guest on Beads, Baubles & Jewels PBS TV Show.
She has a passion for helping creatives go after their dreams. And for red boots! She divides her time between Sausalito, CA and Dallas, TX.

Robin Kramer is the one of the best Wholesale consultants I have worked with in over 7 years. Robin's solid advice has helped my wholesale business grow by 65% year over year. Robin has helped me to establish clear action items that produce results. She has helped counsel me in using a voice with sales reps and store owners that is empowering and feels authentic. I love Robin's ability to help keep me accountable and in making decisions that are mutually beneficial for my partnerships. Her knowledge is expansive in all areas of business including management of teams, how to best curate and add new collections, catalogs/line sheets and most importantly, how to ask the right questions to gain the most insight into my business. I am confident that my wholesale business would not be thriving without the wisdom, enthusiasm and love of Robin Kramer!

It has been said that if you want to be successful, you need to hire people who are smarter than you. For me, that person is Robin Kramer. Robin is wicked smart, incredibly creative, generous and kind. As a consultant/mentor/colleague, Robin brings insight, honesty and clear thinking to problem solving for artisan-makers and business entrepreneurs. She will brainstorm with you and help you carve out a plan of action suitable to your needs. I am very lucky to know Robin and to work with her. You will be too!

Robin has been an amazing mentor to us and an amazing person in really helping our business grow. Really helping us to scale up and teach us things we couldn’t possibly have learned any other way. She has been more than a mentor to us, she has been a friend. Robin is one who won’t stop even after the course is done. She’ll follow up with you via text, email, phone just to see how your doing and see how the business is going. If you really want to learn and explore wholesale and all kinds of other ways to grow your business, I can’t recommend Robin Kramer enough and I hope you really join her course and take advantage of all the expertise she has gotten in life.

From the time I met Robin over 15 years ago, she has been my go-to person when I need sales advice. So when she started Red Boot Consulting, I knew we had to hire her. It's been one of the best investments we've made for Viv&Ingrid.
One of the first projects Robin worked on was to build a NY trade show staff that was based in NY. I knew I could hire people, but I wanted the "right" people that took ownership over our booth, were motivated to sell and trustworthy. Robin the hired an amazing team and helped us create our show manual. Having a NY show staff not only saved us thousands each show, but allowed me to stay in CA, where I could focus on being creative without sacrificing sales.
Robin has also opened doors to accounts we've been trying to get into for years. After years of trying to get into a major catalog with another sales rep - one meeting with Robin and we were in! This catalog is now one of our biggest accounts.
It's also because of Robin that we were able to successfully open our first retail store last May. Not only did she coach us every step of the way, but she made sure our staff was prepared and trained. Robin made sure we thought through every important detail.
In short, Robin knows A LOT (both about the industry and practically everyone in the industry!). And if she takes you on as a client, she is committed to seeing you succeed. But beyond that, she is fun, thoughtful and creative, and we feel privileged to be working with her.
Whitney Howard Designs has had the fortunate opportunity to know and have worked with Robin at Red Boot Consulting for several years. Every opportunity we have to work with Robin has yielded immediate and impactful results that show many benefits to our businesses. She is extremely professional and also very personable. Easy to work with. Her knowledge is deep and rich with experience and honesty. We look forward to more work with Robin and wish her much prosperity as well. I could honestly tell you we love her and working with her and think the world of her too.

I have had a retail store for fifteen years and a wholesale business for over ten. I understand both sides of 'the business'. If you are in the business and are looking for a consultant, look no further.
If you are a business that has worked with a consultant before, you now know by meeting Robin Kramer, you met the best. Working with Robin is by far one of the most satisfying experiences I have had in this business. Robin is Wise, Experienced, Inspiring and Motivating. Working with Robin is a privilege.
